The Arty Side is a humorous comic series I created in 2024 that playfully explores the history of art through parody, satire and absurd situations involving famous artists and artworks.

I blend cartoon humour with references to figures such as Leonardo da Vinci, Paul Gauguin, Vincent van Gogh, Pablo Picasso and Andy Warhol, combining art history with contemporary comic storytelling. Through the mischievous adventures of Gauguin and the reactions of characters inspired by artists, critics and museum culture, I use humour to celebrate creativity while gently poking fun at the seriousness of the art world.

The hand-drawn pencil style gives the series a personal and expressive quality, reflecting both my love of drawing and my fascination with the evolution of art throughout history.
